Mid-level BI developer 

Location: Falck, Copenhagen, Denmark

Contract: Full-time

Falck Assistance Nordic (FAN), one of Falck Group’s five Business Units, is looking for a Mid-level developer within Business Intelligence to join our Business Intelligence  team. Through FAN’s services the company helps safeguard and support their customers in the best possible way, either by providing advice on the prevention of accidents and other incidents, or by providing fast and competent assistance when accidents happen. The services are often subscription-based and are aimed at private, business and public-sector customers. 
Be a part of reinventing the BI department 
FAN is currently on a journey where several of our core datawarehouses are being replaced and the old BI solutions and processes for creating insight are becoming obsolete. The BI department therefore need to reinvent itself. A strategy and vision for the future need to be set and new ways of supporting the business need to be invented asap.  
As a Mid-level BI developer in the BI team you will be part of the journey to establish this new version of the department. 

Desirable qualifications and profile characteristics

You have a relevant background with web application development. You are a trained professional with several successful projects in your portfolio.

You have been working with the following:

  • C# 
  • SQL Server (DBA, DB development and statistics) 
  • SQL Server Integration Services
  • SQL Server Analysis Services models development
  • SQL Server Reporting Services
  • TSQL
  • MDX or DAX
  • Algorithms and algorithm complexity estimation
  • GIT

Falck are interested in your suggestions and ideas and it will be possible to influence the technologies that Falck use in future projects.

Additionally, Falck expect that you:

  • Are an innovative thinker and understand that IT can make a visible difference in the organization
  • Are structured and able to handle several simulations, projects, and processes
  • Can effortlessly communicate in detailed in both written and spoken English
  • Can operate in an informal, fun and flexible setting. That said, flexibility goes both ways. Falck expects you to be flexible and equipped to deal with adversity since they work with projects and deadlines.
