Full stack C# .NET MVC developer

The job

Falck is looking for a skilled developer to help them develop and extend a number of newly developed web applications ranging from small utility applications to large web and e-commerce portals. You will have direct contact with the business entities and have great influence not only on the technical architecture but also be able to influence the business decisions.

You will be a part of IT Development which is organized in the department Assistance Nordic division. Falck Assistance Nordic is a business division in Falck with a global revenue of approximately DKK 4 billion yearly. In the IT Development team, they are currently working on expanding Falck’s “Applications and integration” group. They are a small but growing international team of 10 developers.  You will have the opportunity to assert a great influence inside the small dynamic team, while simultaneously working inside a large international organization with a constant flow of enterprise projects.

Your tasks

The bulk of your time will be spent on technical implementation and programming. But you will also be in direct contact with the business units and project participants in order to understand and clarify the goals and requirements of the projects you are working on.

You will also lead the technical clarifications of the projects that they are doing. You will be closely involved in the entire process from the emerging business ideas, actual programming, deployment and implementing new features and changes.

You will also get the chance to learn and make yourself an expert in one or more of the other enterprise technologies Falck uses like the EPiServer CMS platform or the Dell Boomi integration platform.

You will be working in a team oriented, agile and iterative fashion and together with your teammembers continuously will strive to improve processes, quality and delivery speed of the entire team.


You have a relevant background with web application development. You are a trained professional with several successful web projects in your portfolio.

You are an expert in C# and the ASP.NET MVC is properly something you see as a gift and a framework that makes you get to results fast.

You have been working extensively with most of these technologies:

  • C# and .NET Framework
  • NET MVC frame work
  • Entity framework – code first approach
  • MS SQL Server 2008+
  • JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3

You love to write well-structured and maintainable code and concepts like automated tests, SOLID and design patterns are not strange to you. Maybe you also have knowledge or experience with a modern JavaScript framework like Angular or React.Js.

Falck are interested in your suggestions and ideas and it will be possible to influence the technologies that Falck use in future projects.

Additionally, Falck expect that you:

  • Are an innovative thinker and understand that IT can make a visible difference in the organization
  • Are structured and able to handle several simulations, projects, and processes
  • Can effortlessly communicate in detailed in both written and spoken English
  • Can communicate complex IT related issues in an understandable manner (including those who are not IT experts)
  • Ability to travel in the Nordic region (a limited amount of travel can be expected)
